That's what I've learned: 'Love' is a word, that should just be written with bloodred ink. Love makes you do the strangest things. She makes you distribute rainbow-coloured candy, she makes you dance through the streets in red shoes, and she doesn't shrink from making you dig graves in paradisiac gardens at night while your hands are bleeding. Love inflicts deep wounds upon you, but in her own way she also heals your scars, provided you trust her and give her time to. I won't compound my scars. I will carry new wounds away, even before the old ones are healed, and I'll inflict wounds upon others.
Everyone of us carries a knife. That's how the rules are.
